I really wanna contribute to this language, but I just can't fathom a lot of the decisions made in the translation, why are all the verbs in past tense, the grammatic person they are referring is correct, I just don't understand why the use of past tense.
For example, in "Deschidere folder" the verb "a deschide" is correct, even though it's a straight translation from "to open", it is still correct. The problem is, the god damn teacher dosen't use that word, the teacher tells you "to open the book at page X", not "you guys opened the book to the page X", the teacher uses the infinitive because that's how contemporary Romanian goes (under the DOOM book, a big book that has all grammatical rules in it)
So, a bit more correct would maybe be "Deschideți folderul", it straight up translates to "Open the folder" (which is what I think the original string was), it is a present verb, it refers to the correct grammatical person (2nd person) and it's the same way Windows addresses to you when you open to open a folder in another window ("Deschideți în fereastră nouă")
I would post the new translation lines but there seriously needs to be more feedback from some other Romanians about the way this translation should go, the decisions from the current translation are just beyond my comprehension

Do you know Romanian? Because what have I translated many (since now) years ago was in accord with how the official Romanian Windows translation has been done. And it is now as well. For instance Deschidere folder is somehow "personless" (probably not the right term), while Deschideți folderul sounds as a command to the person who is using the computer / Rainmeter. I think there is nothing wrong with Deschidere folder. What a teacher says on a discussion is not exactly what you have to have in a computer program translation.
On the other hand I started to translate the new phrases, but have extremely less time to work with. Soon i hope I'll finish the translation and post the needed expressions (hope this week).

EDIT: Fixed the mistake indicated by Yincognito. Thanks him.
The Romanian translation of the newly asked strings:
  • Game mode : Modul joc
  • Start game mode : Pornire mod joc
  • Stop game mode : Oprire mod joc
  • Full-screen games : Jocuri în ecran complet
  • Additional process list: : Lista proceselor adiționale:
  • Additional process list : Lista proceselor adiționale
  • You can also manually start/stop game mode by using the tray icon context menu. Manually starting/stopping game mode will uncheck both the ""Full-screen games"" and ""Additional process list"" checkbox. You must re-enable those items for Rainmeter to start monitoring them again.\n\nClick the ""Help"" button for more information. : Puteți porni/opri manual modul joc, din meniul contextual al pictogramei zonei de notificare. Pornirea/oprirea manuală debifează casetele ""Jocuri în ecran complet"" și ""Lista proceselor adiționale"". Pentru ca Rainmeter să le monitorizeze din nou, trebuie să le rebifați.\n\nDați clic pe butonul ""Ajutor"" pentru mai multe informații.
  • On start : La pornire
  • On stop : La oprire
  • Select the action to perform when starting/stopping game mode. ""On start"" can unload all skins or load a layout. ""On stop"" can reload the current layout or another layout. : Alegeți acțiunea executată atunci când porniți/opriți modul joc. ""La pornire"" dezactivează toate gadgeturile sau încarcă o temă. ""La oprire"" relansează tema curentă sau o altă temă.
  • Unload all skins : Descărcare toate gadgeturile
  • Load current layout : Încărcare tema curentă
  • Rainmeter Safe Start : Pornire sigură Rainmeter
  • This will unload all skins and start Rainmeter with the default ""illustro"" skins.\n\nYour current layout will be saved as: @Backup\n\nUse this if you are having trouble starting Rainmeter.\n\nEnter Rainmeter Safe Start? : Toate gadgeturile încărcate vor fi descărcate, iar Rainmeter va porni cu gadgeturile ""illustro"" implicite.\n\nTema curentă va fi salvată ca @Backup\n\nUtilizați aceasta dacă aveți probleme la lansarea Rainmeter.\n\nPorniți Rainmeter în modul sigur?
  • Measure : Măsură
  • This change requires Rainmeter to be restarted.\n\nWould you like to restart Rainmeter now? : Aceasta presupune repornirea Rainmeter.\n\nDoriți repornirea sa?

Small typo: încarcă instead of încărcă.

Not really a mistake, but the literal translation of ""On start"" can unload all skins or load a layout. ""On stop"" can reload the current layout or another layout. is normally ""La pornire"" se pot dezactiva toate gadgeturile sau încărca o temă. ""La oprire"" se poate relansa tema curentă sau o altă temă., but your translation of ""La pornire"" dezactivează toate gadgeturile sau încarcă o temă. ""La oprire"" relansează tema curentă sau o altă temă. is not necessarily incorrect, since, after all, there are no other options than those mentioned - even in English you can omit the "can" verb from phrases like ""On start"" can unload all skins or load a layout and make it ""On start"" unloads all skins or loads a layout for the same reason. ;-)

I understand what you mean and gramatically you are correct, however in practice it's correct either way, especially when it comes to "usage instructions" of various kinds (just open an instruction manual that has schematics or describing images in it and you'll see). The long infinitive form of "deschidere" (which has more or less the same meaning as the identical substantive form) literally means "the action of opening up and its result", according to this. If you still have doubts, check this page (and images there) from Microsoft - it's basically the same technique. This also has the advantage of not needing to think whether to choose the informal "deschide" over the formal "deschideti", so it's a good trick to not bother with those ascpects when translating similar things.

That being said, feel free to contribute if you want. Help is generally welcomed in most situations.
